Predictive maintenance for your entire fleet, on a single platform.
AESTUS connects all your vessel’s sensors, integrates your electronic engines via CANbus and existing alarm systems, and transmits data to the cloud, where AI anticipates failures before they occur. It integrates with SAP and your own proprietary systems.

An AI window for predictive maintenance
The “brain” of AESTUS is an artificial intelligence assistant that interprets data from all your sensors, learns the normal behavior of each asset, and provides alerts before a failure occurs—using plain language and recommending concrete actions.
- STBD Main Engine · vibration +38%
- Bilge pump · temperature
- Generator 2 · nominal
Check the status of the entire fleet by typing a question. AESTUS AI instantly summarizes KPIs, trends, and risks, and can automatically generate the work order.
Artificial intelligence that interprets each asset
Anomaly detection
AI models identify subtle deviations in vibration, temperature, pressure, or consumption long before they turn into a failure.
Remaining Useful Life (RUL)
Estimate the remaining days or hours of operation for each critical component and the probability of failure within your defined timeframe.
Actionable recommendations
AI does more than just issue alerts: it suggests interventions, prioritizes based on criticality, and can automatically generate work orders.
Actionable recommendations
AI does more than just issue alerts: it suggests interventions, prioritizes based on criticality, and can automatically generate work orders.
Natural language reports
Check the fleet's status by typing a question. AESTUS AI instantly summarizes KPIs, trends, and risks.
Configurable alerts
Define thresholds by asset, vessel type, or operating condition. Receive alerts via app, email, or your operations center.
Fuel consumption and savings
Fuel is your fleet’s largest operating cost. AESTUS measures the actual fuel consumption of each engine using flow meters and ECU data, detects anomalies, leaks, and unauthorized usage, and turns every liter into a cost-saving decision.
Actual measurement per motor
High-precision flow meters + ECU data: instantaneous fuel consumption (L/h), per leg, and cumulative, for each engine.
Detection of leaks and unauthorized consumption
AI learns the normal pattern and alerts to leaks, siphoning, or abnormal consumption that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Efficiency and optimization
Consumption per nautical mile, by operating mode and operation. Compare vessels, crews, and routes to find the optimal point.
Savings and measurable ROI
It quantifies month-by-month fuel savings and emissions reductions. The module typically pays for itself within a few months.
320 L level drop in tank 2 with no associated engine consumption — possible leak or siphoning. Inspection order generated.
Emissions per asset and per vessel
Every liter measured by AESTUS translates into emissions. The platform calculates the CO₂ generated by each asset—engine by engine, generator by generator—as well as the vessel’s total, applying IMO emission factors based on the fuel type. Reports are ready to meet the ESG requirements of charterers such as Petrobras, as well as CII and MRV standards.
Breakdown by asset
You know exactly which engine or generator has the highest emissions, and you can take action on the one performing the worst.
Carbon Intensity (CII)
CO₂ per nautical mile and per operation, based on the logic of the Carbon Intensity Indicator and its A–E rating.
ESG report ready for charterers
Carbon footprint reports by vessel and by fleet, aligned with Petrobras requirements and MRV regulations.
Less fuel, fewer emissions
Optimizing consumption and emissions go hand in hand: every saving in fuel reduces the carbon footprint.
The gateway that unifies everything on board
Aestus Core is the onboard IoT data acquisition unit—a robust telemetry gateway with integrated GPS. It receives signals from sensors, electronic engines, and third-party alarm systems, normalizes them, and securely transmits them to the AESTUS cloud.
CAN / J1939
Engine ECUs and NMEA 2000 buses.
RS485 / Modbus
Sensors and alarm control panels.
Built-in GPS
Position, heading, and speed.
Cloud connection
Online transmission (mobile/Wi-Fi/Ethernet)
MicroSD
Local offline logging.
Power supply 9–32 V
Suitable for 12/24 V on board. 110-220VAc
Full vessel coverage
From bow to stern and from the engine room to the bridge, every ship system is converted into data. AESTUS monitors all onboard assets—engines, generators, transmissions, tanks, pumps, utilities, and safety systems—and integrates them into a unified view of system health.

A dynamic record for each asset
Maintenance managers populate each asset’s record with its entire scheduled maintenance plan. Mechanics log work performed in the field. And AI transforms sensor trends into concrete actions—without anything being recorded on paper.
Maintenance plan sheets
Load each asset with its technical data and all scheduled maintenance: hourly intervals, calendar, tasks, and associated spare parts.
Photos, invoices, and spare parts
Log field work with supporting evidence—such as photos, invoices, and used spare parts—directly on the asset record.
Trend-based preventive maintenance
The AI learns the normal pattern and anticipates intervention based on the actual trend of vibration, temperature, or consumption.
Inspection and work orders
When a parameter exceeds its threshold, AESTUS automatically generates the work and inspection order.
Starboard Main Engine
The trend exceeded the defined threshold. AESTUS automatically generated: Work Order #WO-1187 · Inspection Order #IN-334.
We integrate with SAP or other ERP systems.
AESTUS does not replace your ecosystem; it unifies it. It integrates with SAP or other ERP systems, as well as your alarm monitoring centers and internal platforms, ensuring that predictive maintenance becomes an integral part of your operations.
Integration with SAP or other ERP: we send work orders, consumption, and asset status to your ERP. Avoid double data entry and keep maintenance, purchasing, and inventory synchronized.
ERP SAP or other ERP
Sends work orders, consumption data, and asset statuses to SAP. Eliminates duplicate data entry and keeps maintenance, purchasing, and inventory synchronized.
Engines ECU via CANbus (J1939)
Reads directly from electronic engines and ECU devices: RPM, load, temperatures, pressures, fuel consumption, and manufacturer fault codes.
Vessel 3rd party alarm systems
It integrates third-party alarm and monitoring systems already installed on board and forwards the feed to Aestus Core to unify it with the rest.
Cloud Open API & proprietary systems
An open API allows you to connect your internal platforms, BI tools, or custom software and consume AESTUS data wherever you need it.
Standards Marine protocols
Native compatibility with the most widely used on-board data buses, without the need to replace existing wiring.
Operation Notifications
Customizable alerts sent to the app, email, or your control center, with thresholds based on asset and vessel type.
